To Place a Call
- Internal Call: Lift handset, dial extension number of party you are calling
- External Call - local: Lift handset, dial 9 and the telephone number of the party you are calling - For long distance you must use a calling card
- External Call using a phone card: Lift handset, dial 9, and the appropriate phone card number (refer to your calling card instructions)
Transfer
To transfer a call to another extension: While connected to the caller, press FLASH, dial extension you are transferring to, announce the call (optional), hang up.
If the extension you are transferring to is busy or does not answer, press FLASH to retrieve caller you were attempting to transfer.
Conference Calls
THREE PARTY CONFERENCE: You may connect up to three parties (including yourself) in a conference call.
While connected to original caller, press FLASH key, dial extension number or external telephone number of party you are adding & wait for them to answer, press FLASH key again to connect all three parties.
Distinctive Ringing
Station users can audibly identify the type of call ringing in. Incoming internal calls within the system have a ringing cycle of one long ring with a three second pause (repeated). Incoming external calls have a ringing cycle of two short rings followed by a two second pause (repeated).
Message Waiting
A stutter dial tone will signal the presence of voice mail messages and will be heard when you lift the handset of your telephone.
Redial
The system will redial the last outgoing number dialed from your telephone - internal or external. (Note: this feature does not work when the last number dialed was from speed dial.)
To Use REDIAL: lift handset, dial #8
Speed Dial
STATION SPEED DIAL: Allows the station user to program up to ten personal speed dial numbers at the telephone. Each speed dial number is assigned an entry code (0 - 9).
To Program: Lift handset, enter #0, dial entry code (0 - 9), and dial number to be stored, wait for acceptance tone. To Call: Enter *0, dial specific entry code of you are calling (0-9)
