Service Level Agreement
The Educational Technology Services Department maintains and offers as part of a borrowing pool, multimedia equipment for use by Baldwin Wallace faculty, students and staff. With the exception of laptop computers (reserved exclusively for faculty and staff), equipment is made available to all members of the BW community on a first-come, first-served basis.

Educational Technology will offer this equipment according to availability, so it is important to make requests as far in advance as possible.
Please Note: While we make every attempt to deliver equipment to faculty & staff,* we cannot honor last-minute requests. We do not set up equipment for borrowers. *Students must come to the Educational Technology Services Department to collect reserved items.

Teleconference - Should you require a teleconference phone, please make arrangements with Deanna Mushat in Telecommunications (x2331)
Internet Conference - (e.g. Skype) Should you need to borrow a web cam, please contact Educational Technology and we will make every attempt to have one for you on the required date. We will not provide set up or support for the device; therefore, the end-user should be familiar with the equipment and software.
If a borrower is unfamiliar with equipment s/he is getting from Educational Technology, a member of the staff will be happy to provide instruction. Should you require such assistance, please contact Frank Paino (email@example.com) or Dennis Butcher (firstname.lastname@example.org) to make arrangements for instruction which will be offered ONLY in the Educational Technology Department.
Educational Technology does not have the staffing or technical proficiency to offer professional audio/videotaping or multiple camera and/or audio set-up The department can provide (as schedules allow) a one person, one camera set-up. NOTE: THERE IS A CHARGE OF $25.00 PER HOUR FOR THIS SERVICE. The camera operator will be a student worker, not a member of the full-time staff. The end-product will be consistent with what one would expect from a one camera shoot on a camcorder (i.e. not “professional quality”). We are not able to edit the recorded material. We will be glad to burn the video to DVD and provide copies at a cost of $4.50 each (including printed label and jewel case).
Events requiring professional sound and/or video will need to be contracted with outside vendors and it will be the responsibility of the requesting party to make arrangements with these vendors.
We do not have any recommendations with regard to professional videographers; however, we can recommend the following vendor for sound (though users are, of course, free to use whomever they choose):

Individuals/departments requesting videotaping of an event will be charged at a rate of $25.00per hour.
DVD copies of recorded events are $4.50 per DVD (price includes printed label & jewel case)
