Sexual Harassment Policy
Baldwin Wallace University is committed to providing a professional working and learning environment free from sexual harassment. Sexual harassment is a form of sex discrimination, is illegal, and can result in a civil law suit. Sexual harassment most often exploits a relationship between individuals of unequal power and authority (for example, the relationship between an employee and a supervisor or between a student and a teacher), but may also occur between student peers or employees of similar rank. Sexual harassment may involve the behavior of a person of either gender against a person of the opposite or same gender. Sanctions for sexual harassment range from mandatory education about sexual harassment to dismissal, depending on the seriousness and frequency of the behavior.
