Community Health Issues

The Baldwin-Wallace College community is composed of students, faculty, staff and visitors sharing their time and environment.  A healthy community involves individuals, groups and the physical environment they interact in.  Baldwin Wallace College values the health and safety of our community and encourages healthy living and communication.

There may be times when community health issues have the potential to affect our shared environment.  We feel that education on and awareness of these community health issues is important in maintaining a healthy, well-informed campus.

With the broad goal of educating our community and providing access to up to date information we are providing links to topics including pandemic flu, MRSA, tuberculosis, meningitis, hepatitis B, and seasonal influenza.  Additional topics will be added as needed.

If any community health situations occur that require alerts or critical instructions the Office of College Relations in collaboration with our Health Service and the local Health Department will update the campus community as necessary.
