Have a project idea and need some help from us?  The first step is to transfer that idea to words through a brief summary. Print and complete Sections I and II and send it to the Office of Corporate & Foundation Relations, Alumni House, via campus mail. This is for internal review only so keep it simple for now.  Call x2739 with questions.

SECTION II
Attach a brief description of your proposed project that addresses some, if not all, of the components listed below.  This should provide a simple overview of your project and is intended to be a rough draft for internal use only. Please try to limit this section to one or two pages.

A.  Need/Background - Why is this project needed?
What conditions or circumstances exist which the proposed project is intended to address, improve or rectify (e.g., faculty development, scholarship, research or other creative activities)? 

B.  Project Description - What is the response to the need?
Describe the "nuts and bolts" of  how the project will be implemented.  Either a narrative description or listing of goals, objective, and methods may be used for this draft. What activities will be provided and what timeframe will they follow?

C. Budget - How much will it cost approximately?
Estimate the cost of launching your project such as personnel (include fringes - if known), travel, equipment, supplies, consultants, and facilities.
