The Office of Commuter Services Staff

Jay T. Hairston is the Assistant Dean of Students and Director of ACES as well as Director of Commuter Services. His office is located within the Student Affairs office at 110 Bonds. He is responsible for several major programming initiatives including ACES and the World Music Series, co-sponsored by the Ohio Arts Council. Jay T. has served on several Ohio Arts Council panels and is also a gospel recording artist and workshop clinician as well as a diversity consultant.

Veronica Drdek serves as the ACES/OCS secretary.  In addition to ACES and OCS, Veronica works with Campus Diversity Affairs and assists the Dean of Students in the Office of Student Affairs.  She is a lifelong resident of northeast Ohio, having grown up in Brook Park, and now living in Berea.  She enjoys discovering and visiting cities and towns in Ohio on "one tank trips" as well as sailing the waters of Lake Erie off Vermilion.  She is a singer (you might catch her at karaoke some night!) and pianist and also is an avid Cleveland Cavaliers fan.  When not working or playing, she likes to relax with family and friends.

Christina Corsi serves as the Graduate Intern in the Office of Commuter Services and is the Advisor of the Commuter Activities Board (CAB). She recently graduated from BW with a major in Public Relations and minor in Communication Studies. She is Co-Advisor of First Book, a new organization at BW whose mission is to provide underprivileged children in the area with brand new books. Christina is happy to continue her passion for cheerleading as a coach at Midpark High School for Football, Basketball and the Competition squads. She served as President of Delta Zeta Sorority Gamma Alpha Chapter and is now an active alumna planning to continue and advance her involvement. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and is a huge animal lover!
