Exceptional Facilities

Carmel Living/Learning Center
Live in a "community" where others on your floor share similar goals and interests.  For each program offered in the Center for an academic year, the community group also incorporates activities and assignments outside of the classroom to (illustrate? facilitate?) demonstrate different ways of learning.  A classroom on each floor makes this truly a living and learning facility, and results in increased student-faculty interaction.

Ernsthausen Hall
Newly renovated, this dorm is the first in Ohio to use environmentally-friendly geothermal heating and cooling, which allows residents to set temperatures on a room-by-room basis.  From the upstairs walkway you can look down over the main floor area where friends meet by the fireplace to take study-breaks or socialize.

Lou Higgins Center
Monitors let you watch TV as you work out.  Brand new treadmills, elipticals, stationary bikes, weight machines or free weights give you options to choose whatever works for you.  The recreation center also is home to the health and physical education department, with popular programs such as athletic training and sport management.

Kleist Center for Art & Drama
Whether learning to be on stage or behind the scenes, you can learn it all in this facility.  The state-of-the-art lighting system in the John Patrick Theatre allows you to create lighting designs on better equipment than that you'll find at Playhouse Square, the theatres of downtown Cleveland, and the largest theatre district between New York and Chicago.
