Admission Recruitment Team
With a limited time commitment, you can make a big impact on B-W's future by attending Admission events and college fairs on our behalf, speaking with prospective students and their parents, and/or hosting or helping staff a student reception. Parent volunteers work with alumni, student volunteers and recruiting staff to enroll an excellent student body for the future.
CareerConnections
Are you interested in helping current students with their careers? Are you able to meet with students to share your expertise and provide career advice? If the answer is yes, we invite you to join CareerConnections, an online program that allows current students to connect with B-W alumni and friends. Through this program, you can help:
- Conduct informational interviews about academic major selections, career fields and industries.
- Provide job shadow experiences for current students at places of employment.
- Serve as a speaker and/or panelist for Career Services campus events.
If you are interested in becoming a CareerConnections volunteer, please e-mail career@bw.edu
B-W Annual Fund Parent Representative
Volunteers of the B-W Annual Fund assist B-W primarily with the stewardship of alumni, parents and friends. Parents can be a key part of our Annual Fund activities by thanking fellow parents (via letter, email or phone) for their financial support to the College or by helping out with direct mail appeals. There are a number of positions available and the time commitment is minimal. If you’re interested in this opportunity, please e-mail bwannual@bw.edu for more information.
Parent Council at Baldwin-Wallace College
An advisory organization comprised of parents of current B-W students. Parents may volunteer to serve on the council or may be asked to serve by a member of the college administration. In the context of a liaison relationship with the College, the Parent Council exists to provide ideas, suggestions and feedback regarding potential improvements, alternative ideas for operations or programs, or concerns of families of current or prospective students at B-W. For further information, please contact Gerrie Paino at 440-826-2112 or gpaino@bw.edu.
