Celebrating Philanthropy: Stephen '68, and Jacquelyn Boesel
Stephen Boesel, Class of 1968, and his wife Jacquelyn Boesel provided leadership philanthropic support for the 2011 renovation and expansion of the Conservatory of Music. The Boesel Musical Arts Center more than doubles the size of the Conservatory with additional areas for instruction, practice and performance.
Steve Boesel has brought honor to Baldwin Wallace University throughout a 33-year career with T. Rowe Price that was marked by his focused, highly ethical and steady management style and unparalleled performance that established him as one of the most respected and successful mutual fund managers in the country.
Since 1997, he has been an active member of the BW Board of Trustees where he is noted for the wise counsel, insights and expertise that he brings to his roles on the executive and advancement committees and as chair of the investment committee. In 2012 he was inducted into the Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges Hall of Excellence.
Jackie Boesel is an accomplished pianist, teacher and noted accompanist. Together, their steadfast, quiet, yet impressive leadership and philanthropic support have benefited the arts, education and church programs in the communities that they touch. Generations of students and faculty will benefit from their vision, commitment and support for the Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music.
