Carmen Castro-Rivera Named Director of Career Services
Carmen Castro-Rivera, of Strongsville, has been named Director of
Career Services at Baldwin-Wallace College.In this position, she will be responsible for providing leadership to B-W’s Office of Career Services in the areas of management, strategic direction and operation. In addition, she will cultivate partnerships on and off campus.
Having recently served as an Associate Director in the Admission area of B-W, Castro-Rivera came to the College in 2007 from the Krannert School of Management, Purdue University, where she was the admissions director for the master’s and executive programs.
Prior to her tenure at Purdue, she garnered 11 years of experience at Bowling Green State University in the College of Business Administration, starting as an academic advisor in undergraduate studies and then serving nearly eight years as the director of graduate studies.
Originally from Lorain, she graduated from Bowling Green State University with a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in business administration. She is a member of the National Association of Colleges and Employers, Midwest Association of Colleges and Employers, National Career Development Association, Ohio Career Development Association and Northeast Consortium for Career Advancement.
