ASL / ILR Scholarship Recommendation

You have been asked to submit a scholarship recommendation for an adult student attending Baldwin-Wallace College.
These scholarships are sponsored by Alpha Sigma Lambda (ASL) national honor society and the Institute for Learning in Retirement (ILR).
Thirteen scholarships (4 ASL and 9 ILR) worth three credit hours at the undergraduate evening tuition rate will be applied toward the 2012-2013 academic year.

Student Eligibility Criteria:

  • Current B-W adult and continuing education or non-traditional student (undergraduate)
  • Minimum of 12 credit hours completed at B-W
  • Cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher 

Student must submit a completed application by Friday, February 24, 2012 (5:00 pm) including:

  • Personal essay regarding their academic achievements, personal goals and/or career aims.  Students are to include how long they have been working on their degree, any challenges they have faced, or information about why they feel that they qualify for this scholarship and should be selected. 
  • Recommendation(s) from a faculty or staff member, or work supervisor. 

Letter of Recommendation

Please complete and submit this electronic recommendation by February 24, 2012 (5:00 pm).
