As you review the evaluation and begin your financial planning, please keep in mind the following:

• Scholarships and grants are forms of “gift assistance” and do not have to be repaid. Official merit-based scholarship offers are made by the Office of Admission after acceptance to Baldwin-Wallace College. Offers are based on official transcripts and score reports received.
  
  
• Stafford loans are loans in the student’s name. Repayment is required. Most repayment schedules for loans in the student’s name begin six months after graduation.
  
  
• Payment plans are also available to budget your payment over a ten-month period for any balance that is not covered in your financial aid package. This option is called “Tuition Management Service” (TMS) at B-W, and information can be obtained by contacting the Bursar’s Office at 440-826-2217 or cashier@bw.edu.
  
  
• For additional assistance, some families choose a Parent Loan for Undergraduate Students (PLUS) or an alternative loan. More information about these forms of financial assistance is available at www.bw.edu/finaid.
