Baldwin Wallace seniors who complete their degree requirements in the Fall Semester, 2014, are eligible to participate in the eighth annual Celebration of Completion Sunday, December 14, 2014 at 2 p.m. in the Kleist Center for Art and Drama.
The University officially salutes its graduates and confers degrees at Commencement in May; however, some students who finish early are unable to participate in the traditional spring Commencement. We are pleased to provide a December event to celebrate their success in completing degree requirements.
While no academic regalia will be involved, this will be a semi-formal event and business attire will be appropriate. As part of this ceremony, students will cross the stage to be greeted by President Robert Helmer and presented with a diploma case by Provost Stephen Stahl. After the program, a light reception will be available in the Allman Theatre and the BW photographer will be available to take photos.
Those being honored are asked to be at the John Patrick Theatre no later than 1:45 p.m. Students will be seated alphabetically toward the front of the Theatre, while family and guests will be seated behind those rows.
Eligible students who plan to attend the celebration must notify the Office of Registration and Records by November 17. Students with eligibility questions should contact Janet Duber in Registration and Records at 440-826-2128.
Additional questions regarding the 2014 Celebration of Completion may be addressed by calling the Office of University Relations at 440-826-2325.
