"I did not have any contacts in Las Vegas, so I had to rely on my experience. Thankfully I had three internships plus other work experience on my resume, which landed me a position at the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art. As Client Services Supervisor, I started docent tours in order for guests to have more enjoyable visits to the gallery."
In addition to her internships and study abroad experiences, Jillian credits interactions within the campus community for giving her the confidence she needed to land a job far from home.
"Above all though, I had professors and staff at Baldwin-Wallace that had confidence in and encouraged me. I have realized out in the real world that a supportive environment is rare and precious."
