Each advisor serves as a liaison to one or more academic departments/divisions for the integration of career and professional development in the classroom. A larger staff in comparison to most regional Liberal Arts colleges contributes to the one-on-one focused attention that your student receives.

What Can I Do With A Major In...?
Career Services provides brochures that include information about each major offered at B-W and a sample list of career and job titles. Your student can access these brochures in the Career Services office in Bonds Building Room 104, and on the Career Service's Student Blackboard site. Connect to the Academic Programs to view a list of academic areas of study.
CareerPlace Library
Located in the Room 104 Bonds, the CareerPlace Library contains more than 350 resources about career fields, job search information, industry and graduate school directories, and test preparatory guides. The CareerPlace Library allow students to be self-directed in their exploration and research with assistance from Career Services staff members. Students can read the books in the comfort of the library, equipped with PC's to access the resources the Office of Career Services has made available online.
Appointments
Students may schedule a meeting with a Career Advisor to discuss their future career plans and options. Career Advisors are available to assist students with:
- Career decision-daking
- Major and/or minor selection
- Resume and cover letter critiques
- Job/internship search strategies
- Interview preparation
- Graduate school process
