"After applying to several districts, I received a phone call from Solon Middle School, and was invited to interview for a Math Intervention opening. After my interview with the Principal and Vice Principal of Solon Middle School, the Principal called an administrator at Mayfield Middle School, where I student taught. The administrator stated that I would be an asset to the Solon School District. I was immediately offered the Math Intervention long-term substitute position, which was for the remainder of the 2012-13 school year. After teaching for a month and a half, the administration asked to interview me for an 8th Grade opening. The Principal of Orchard Middle School sat in on the meeting as well. After the interview, I received a phone call stating that both Principals wanted to offer me a position. I accepted the 6th Grade Math position at Orchard, and will officially begin August 2013."

Position Title/Organization: Teacher Resident, Academy for Urban School Leadership
"I have been able to broaden my horizons both as a leader and a professional during my time at Baldwin Wallace. I served as President of the school's education club, Teaching Together, and as Vice President for my sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha, gaining the skill to time manage and have confidence in myself. The education program provided me with a strong training as well as experience with a variety of placements, ranging from 1st through 5th grade, with many wonderful teachers. My time here at Baldwin Wallace prepared me for the professional world's expectations, which I carried with me to my interview in Chicago Last month. I accepted a position with AUSL in Chicago, IL, and am incredibly excited to begin working in July! Baldwin Wallace made this opportunity possible."

Position Title/Organization: Exercise Physiology Intern - Cleveland Clinic, Department of Preventive Cardiology and Rehabilitation
"The Exercise Science program at Baldwin Wallace University is truly comprehensive and provided me with multiple opportunities to grow both academically and professionally. My professors continually provided learning experiences inside and outside of the classroom, which have all served to assist me in becoming a competitive candidate in my field of interest. Most recently, I was able to articulate and showcase my BW experiences during an interview at the Cleveland Clinic. As a result, I have been accepted into the Preventive Cardiology and Rehabilitation Exercise Physiology Internship Program. I look forward to continuing to build upon the experiences I have had at Baldwin Wallace University as I transition into the professional world."
Position Title/Organization: Inventory Planning Analyst - JM Smucker Company
My four years at BW and interning in Career Services taught me professionalism and work ethic that prepared me well for the business environment. It was a great opportunity to get experience in interviewing and working as a business professional. After college, I began working at the JM Smucker Company in the Customer Service Department. I found the values and hard-working attitude that I learned at BW were a good foundation for my career at Smucker's. This has led me to multiple positions in Customer Service, and most recently being promoted to Analyst with the Supply Planning Department. I built very strong and wonderful relationships with my professors and the staff at BW that I still keep in touch with today. I know my success is a direct result of their guidance and teaching.

Position Title/Organization: Director of Admission - Ursuline College
My sophomore year at BW, I was hired as a tour guide in the Office of Admission. I loved it. My senior year, I walked into the Director of Admission’s office and said to him, “I think my ultimate career goal is to
have your job. How can I do this?” My mentors at BW, including the college President who wrote a recommendation letter on my behalf helped me get into graduate school at Columbia University. BW welcomed me back the following year and I worked as an Admission Counselor before moving on to a public university, and then to my current position as the Director of Admission at Ursuline College. The position that I hoped to achieve at the end of a long career was offered to me 6 years after graduating from BW. My BW and professional networks are filled with outstanding people who have challenged me and helped me grow—and this has been the single most important factor in achieving my goals.
