To provide an academic community that focuses on the learning and growth of students
1. To attract and retain highly motivated faculty, administration and staff who reflect the diversity of our society and provide them with the compensation, resources, developmental opportunities, and feedback necessary for them to make the strongest possible contributions to the fulfillment of the College mission
2. To implement a faculty development plan which will assist faculty members to remain current in their disciplines, to integrate effective and creative pedagogy, to integrate technology as appropriate, and to incorporate any changes that may be made to the academic program
3. To provide faculty the means and resources to develop as scholars according to the Boyer model of scholarship and discovery adopted by the faculty (Boyer, Ernest (1990) Scholarship Reconsidered: Portraits of the Professoriate Princeton, NJ: The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching)
4. To develop policies and procedures for evaluating the performance of all faculty, administrators and staff in regard to fulfilling the mission of the College
5. To develop bridges between diverse student populations in an effort to enhance the sense of inclusion and community among the student body
6. To develop a comprehensive master plan for the campus including academic and administrative buildings and residence halls, signage, landscaping, parking, and traffic flow to support the goals of our educational community
7. To create a greater sense of community among all students, faculty, staff and administrators
