Baldwin-Wallace College Women's Soccer Team Lose to Crosstown Rival Case Western, 1-0

BEREA, OHIO —The Baldwin-Wallace College women’s soccer team was defeated tonight, (Sept. 16) by Case Western Reserve University Spartans by the score of 1-0.  With the loss, the Yellow Jackets fall to 4-2-0 overall.

At the 6:12 mark Case found the back of the net for the lone goal of the night. The Yellow Jackets were out shot, 12-8 and were out cornered, 4-3, in the game.

Junior 2005 Ohio Athletic Conference Goalkeeper of the Year Michelle Neff (Strongsville) played all 90 minutes in goal for the Yellow Jackets and collected seven saves.

B-W will next be in action when they travel to take on cross-town rival Notre Dame College on Sept. 21. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
