With their loss, the Yellow Jackets drop to 2-1 overall and next play tomorrow (Saturday, Sept. 9) when they travel from Anderson to Adrian, Michigan to play Adrian College at 11:00 a.m.
After a scoreless first half, the Yellow Jackets scored the first goal of the game and took a 1-0 lead at the 56:49 mark when senior forward Jenny Miller (North Ridgeville) scored her 30th career goal with an assist from junior Allie Wojtkun (North Olmsted/ Magnificat).
The Ravens came back to tie the game at 1-1 at the 72:56 mark and scored the game-winner at 78:13. B-W had two solid chances to tie the game in the final minutes but shots by Miller and junior All-OAC forward Whitney Zunic (Canfield) were off the crossbar and just wide left, respectively.
Following its game tomorrow at Adrian, the Yellow Jackets will return to Berea and then travel to Pitt-Bradford for a Wednesday, Sept. 13 game at 3:00 p.m. The 2006 home opener for B-W is on Saturday, Sept. 16 at 7:00 p.m. against Case Western Reserve University.
