Baldwin-Wallace Women's Soccer Team and OAC-Leading Ohio Northern Play to a Scoreless Draw

BEREA, OHIO --  The Baldwin-Wallace College women’s soccer team tied Ohio Athletic Conference-leading Ohio Northern University, 0-0, today (Tuesday, October 23, 2007) in double overtime at the ONU Soccer Field in Ada. With the tie, B-W stays unbeaten in the OAC at 5-0-3 and with 18 points are in third place in the OAC.  The Yellow Jackets only trail Ohio Northern  (22 points) and Capital University (21 points). 

With the tie, the Yellow Jackets are now 11-4-3 overall, while the Polar Bears are now 10-4-2 overall and 7-0-1 in the OAC

Ohio Northern won the battle of shots, 33-9 and corners, 9-3

In goal, Yellow Jacket senior two-time All-OAC player Michelle Neff (Strongsville) played all 110 minutes recording 14save and earning her 10th shutout of the year and the 24th of her brilliant four-year career.  Neff's 10th shutout sets the school single-season record. She is second on B-W’s all-time list for shutouts.

The Yellow Jackets will close out their regular season on Friday (Oct. 26) when they travel to Wilmington to play Wilmington College at 7:00 p.m.
