Baldwin-Wallace College Women's Soccer Team Fell, 2-0, to Adrian (Mich.) College in Home Opener

BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin-Wallace College women's soccer team fell, 2-0, to Adrian (Mich.) College tonight (Wednesday, September 5, 2007) at The George Finnie Stadium in Berea.

With the loss, the Yellow Jackets are 1-2 overall.  With the win, the Bulldogs are now 1-2 overall.

B-W won the battle of shots, 13-8, and in corners, 3-0.

The teams played the majority of the game scoreless until Adrian's Lindsay Chitwood scored at the 57:09 mark on a penalty kick.  Chitwood score again at the 83:01 mark from 30 yards out off a pass from Katie Williams.

Senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference goalie Michelle Neff (Strongsville) played all 90 minutes in goal and allowed two goals and had two saves.

The Yellow Jackets return to The George Finnie Stadium on Saturday (September 8) when they host Anderson (Ind.) University at 6:00 p.m. in the first game of a men's and women's doubleheader.  The Yellow Jacket men host Anderson at 8:00 p.m.
