EMILY SANDERS NOTES:

2011-2012 NOTES: Baldwin-Wallace College sophomore defender Emily Sanders played her first season of soccer this season and helped the Yellow Jackets to compile an 11-9 overall record. She earned her first varsity letter. This season, Emily played in 18 varsity contests, took eight shots, including six on-goal, scored one goal and had one assist for three points. Her lone goal was the game-winning goal in a 1-0 victory against Penn State-Behrend University (Oct. 5, 2011).

2010-2011 NOTES: Emily was medically red-shirted as a freshman due to an injury.

OTHER B-W NOTES AND INFORMATION: Emily has hopes of becoming a physical therapist.  She maintains a strong 3.75 grade point average, was named as a Jacket Scholar last spring and will be inducted into the Alpha Lambda Honor Society this fall.  She is a candidate this fall for both Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference and CAPITAL ONE College Division Academic All-District VII honors.

HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: While at Jackson High School, Emily played and lettered for four years in soccer. As a junior and senior, she earned All-Federal League honors. She also served as a team captain and was the Jackson Most Valuable Defensive Player as a senior. Academically, Emily graduated with an Honors Diploma, was a member of the Honor Roll all four years and received both the President's Award of Academic Excellence and an Award of Merit.
