MARGO LASEAK NOTES: 2011 NOTES: Margo missed the entire season her junior year due to injury. 2010 NOTES: As a sophomore, Margo Laseak started all 21 games in the 2010-11 season en route to her second year as a varsity letter winner. She tallied first career assist on Sept. 07, 2010 vs. Oberlin 2009 NOTES: Margo started and played in all 20 games as a freshman and took five shots for the 6-12-2 Yellow Jackets. Margo also was voted as the B-W Co-Rookie of the Year for her efforts. OTHER B-W NOTES AND INFORMATION: Margo is currently studying Early Education but is unsure of what she wants to pursue for her career. She is a Dean's List student who carries a 3.68 grade-point average. As a sophomore in 2010-2011, Margo became a Jacket Scholar for maintaining a cumulative GPA above 3.5. As a junior in 2011-12, she was honored at the 2011-12 Student-Athlete & Faculty Recognition Luncheon for having the Highest Grade Point Average on the women's soccer team (3.68). HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: While attending Mentor High School, Margo played soccer for four years and earned four varsity letters. She also played basketball for four years and lettered twice. In addition, she ran track for three years and earned three letters. In soccer, Margo was a member of four Lake Erie League Championship teams and three District Championship teams. In basketball as a senior, Margo was a member of Mentor's LEL and District Champion teams who were also Regional Finalists. She was academically a member of the National Honor Society and Honor Roll. |
