B-W Seniors Stephanie Geiger and Tyler Fridley Named Women’s Soccer All-OAC

BEREA, OHIO – Baldwin-Wallace College senior sweeper Stephanie Geiger (Berea) and senior defender Tyler Fridley (Niles/ McKinley) were named to the 2009 All-Ohio Athletic Conference women’s soccer team announced on Wednesday, November 11.

Geiger, a two-year captain,earned first-team honors for the third consecutive season. She led the team with 11 points on five goals and an assist. She also helped lead the defense to four shutouts and a 1.49 goals against average. Geiger, also a 2008 NSCAA All-Great Lakes Region selection, earned second-team ESPN THE MAGAZINE Academic All-District IV honors for the second consecutive year in 2009.
 
Fridley, also a team captain, earned second-team All-OAC honors. She started all 20 games and was a key component on the Yellow Jacket defense. Fridley also earned second-team ESPN THE MAGAZINE Academic All-District IV honors.
