Baldwin-Wallace College Senior Allie Wojtkun Named as an ESPN THE MAGAZINE Academic All-American

BEREA, OHIO -- Baldwin-Wallace College senior women’s soccer midfielder Allie Wojtkun (North Olmsted/ Magnificat) has been selected as a second-team ESPN THE MAGAZINE Academic All-American. She is the 77th Yellow Jacket student-athlete in school history to earn Academic All-America acclaim, more than any other school in the Ohio Athletic Conference.
 
Wojtkun, who carries a 3.98 grade point average in human resource management, is a two-time first-team ESPN THE MAGAZINE Academic All-District IV student-athlete who also is a three-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference player and a 2007 first-team Academic All-OAC selection (the 2008 Academic All-OAC team has yet to be announced).
 
This season, Wojtkun topped the team in scoring with four goals and one assist for nine points for the 7-9-3 overall Yellow Jackets. For her career, she played in 56 career matches, took 92 total shots, including 47 on-goal, scored 16 goals and added six assists for 38 career points.
