Baldwin-Wallace women's goalie Amanda Avram is two saves from setting a career record

avram.jpgBEREA, OHIO -- Baldwin-Wallace College senior women's soccer goalie Amanda Avram (Kirtland/ Villa Angela - St. Joseph High School) enters a Wednesday game in Bexley against Ohio Athletic Conference rival Capital University needing just two saves to set a Yellow Jacket career record.

Avram, a three-time All-OAC pick and the OAC's two-time Goalie of the Year (2001 and 2002), enters the Capital contest with 710 career saves and needs the two to surpass Jill Ward (1987-90) who had 711. She is a four-year starter. Statistically, Avram has played in 67 career games and covering 5,977 minutes, has faced 1,314 shots and allowed 147 goals.

Kickoff at Bernlohr Stadium in Bexley is 4:00 p.m.
