BEREA, OHIO -- Baldwin Wallace College wrestling team defeated arch rival Mount Union College in an Ohio Athletic Conference dual season match opener on Tuesday, Dec. 2, at the Rudolph Ursprung Gymnasium.

B-W improves its record to 3-0 overall and 1-0 in the OAC. The Purple Raiders fall to 2-5 overall and 0-1 in the OAC

Winning their matches with major decisions for the Jackets were sophomores Jared Selover (Wapakoneta), Devin Carman (Ashtabula, Geneva), and Brian Kmetz (Brunswick). Also putting in victories for B-W were senior Sayre Wuhr (Hudson) who won his 141 pound match over Mount's Sean Connelly. Sophomore Thamir Rimbert (Cleveland, Oberlin Senior) who won his 149 pound bout over MUC's Aaron Martell. Senior Joe Heiland (Shelby), sophomore Roger Roman (Wooster, Northwestern), and sophomore T.Terry (Bedford, St. Peter Chanel) won their individual matches.

B-W will travel to Rochester, N.Y. to the Rochester Institute of Technology Tournament on Saturday, Dec. 6 beginning at 9a.m.
