BEREA, OHIO -- The unbeaten and 29th-ranked Baldwin-Wallace College wrestling team will be in action on Friday and Saturday when they travel to Williamsport, Pennsylvania to participate in the 2004 Bud Whitehall Division III National Duals at Lycoming College. B-W, seeded 11th of 16 seeds and 20 teams overall at the tourney, opens action at the National Duals on Friday night when it faces fifth-seeded and 14th-ranked Ithaca (N.Y.) College at 10:30 a.m.
To date, the Yellow Jackets are led by senior 165-pounder Joe Heiland (Shelby), sophomore heavyweight Bryan Kmetz (Brunswick), sophomore 197-pounder Devin Carman (Ashtabula/ Geneva), sophomore 125-pound All-American Jared Selover (Wapakoneta) and senior 141-pounder Sayre Wuhr (Hudson). Joe Heiland leads the Yellow Jackets in victories with 12 and is 12-3 overall with an .800 winning percentage. Bryan Kmetz is second in wins with 11 and is 11-2 overall with a team-leading .846 winning percentage. Devin Carman is third with 10 wins and is 10-2 overall and has a team-leading four pin/ falls. Jared Selover is fourth with nine wins, a 9-2 record and an .818 winning percentage.
Following its trip to Williamsport, Pa., B-W is off until Tuesday, January 20, when it travels to Wilmington, Ohio for a 7:00 p.m. OAC match against Wilmington College.
