Division III National Wrestling Duals in Williamsport, Pennsylvania
BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin-Wallace College wrestling team lost to King's (Pa.) College, 37-15, in its third match today (Jan. 9) at the Division III National Wrestling Duals in Williamsport, Pennsylvania ay Lycoming College. The Yellow Jackets lost their third straight match of the day and the tournament concludes tomorrow.
With its loss, B-W, ranked 29th in Division III, falls to 3-3 overall. For the Yellow Jackets, senior 147-pounder Sayre Wuhr (Hudson) pinned KC's Matt Flanery in :46 seconds to improve to 11-5 on the season. Senior 165-pound national qualifier Joe Heiland (Shelby) defeated Joe Arnone, 5-2 and senior heavyweight Israel Martin (Shelby) pinned Tim Marrer in 4:03.
125-pound All-American Jared Selover (Wapakoneta) lost his match for the second time in three tries by a 5-3 decision to Mitch Marcks and fell to 10-4 on the seaon. Harrold was defeated by J.D. Padilla, 8-2, and Thamir Rimbert (Cleveland/Oberlin Senior) was pinned by KC's Jim Morgan in :18 seconds to fall to 4-8 individually. See all of the match results below.
