BEREA, OHIO-- The Baldwin-Wallace College wrestling team fell to Ohio Athletic Conference rival Heidelberg College tonight (Feb. 10) in Tiffin, 34-12, in a dual match.
With the loss, the Yellow Jackets wrestlers fall to 3-2 in the OAC and 6-5 overall. The Student Princes improve their record with the win to 4-1 in the OAC and 8-4 overall.
Despite the loss, the B-W wrestlers were led by sophomore All-American Jared Selover (Wapakoneta) who pinned his opponent in the second period of his 133-pound match at the 4:22 mark. Junior Sterling Sebek (Columbus,Ga., Brookstone) won his 184-pound match, 9-7 in overtime and sophomore Bryan Kmetz (Brunswick) defeated his 285-pound opponent, 10-8, in overtime.
Improving their overall records for the Jackets were Selover at 12-4, Sebek at 10-6 and Kmetz at 24-4 overall.
The Jackets will be back in action next Tuesday, Feb. 17 in Ada when they face the Ohio Northern University Polar Bears at 7:30p.m.
