BEREA, OHIO -- The B-W wrestling team swept its opponents in the Case Western Reserve University Wrestling Quad. The Yellow Jackets defeated Thiel (Pa.) 32-15, Waynesburg (Pa.) 46-6 and Case Western Reserve 36-10. Overall, the team outscored their opponents 114-31.

Leading the team was senior heavyweight Greg Hartlaub (Avon Lake) with three wins, including two falls. At 165, junior Joe Heiland (Shelby) also had three wins, with one fall. Sophomore 174 pounder Sterling Sebek (Columbus, Ga.) dominated both his opponents, recording a major decision and a technical fall.
In their first matches as Yellow Jackets, freshmen 125 pounder Jared Selover (Wapokeneta) and 197 pounder Devin Carman (Ashtabula/Geneva) both went undefeated on the day. Selover had two major decisions and Carman had one decision and one technical fall.
The Yellow Jackets will host Heildeberg College, Wednesday, December 3rd, in the Ursprung Gynasium to start Ohio Athletic Conference action. Match time is 7:30 p.m.
