Baldwin Wallace Wrestling Team Falls To Cross-Town Rival John Carroll

BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin Wallace University wrestling team drops an Ohio Athletic Conference dual match tonight (Tuesday, January 17, 2012) to Cleveland cross-town rival John Carroll University by a final score of 35-10.
The Yellow Jackets are now 1-3 overall and 0-2 in the OAC while the Blue Streaks snap a two match losing streak to BW and improve to 5-3 overall and 2-0 in the OAC.
In addition to Ramsey, sophomore 133-pounder Andrew Taylor (Columbus/ Worthington/Kilbourne) won by a decision, 8-2. Taylor leads the team in victories with a record of 11-10 overall and is now 1-1 in OAC matches. Sophomore 285-pounder Addison Carbone (Hudson) won by decision, 5-4, to pick up his first career victory. Carbone is now 1-6 overall and 1-1 in the OAC since joining the team after football season.
BW is back in action this Saturday, January 21 when it will travel to Alma, Michigan to take part in the Alma College Open Tournament at 9:00 a.m. The next home event is on Saturday, February 4 when the team will host the 26th Annual John Summa Memorial Tournament in the Lou Higgins Center Fieldhouse at 10:00 a.m.
