B-W Wrestlers Fall to Muskingum on Day Two of Lycoming (Pa.) College Duals

BEREA, OHIO --  The Baldwin-Wallace College wrestling team fell by a score of 24-18 to Muskingum this afternoon (Saturday, January 10, 2009) on day two of the Lycoming (Pa.) College Budd Whitehill Duals. 

The loss brings B-W's season record to 1-17 and improves the Muskies overall mark to 3-4. The match did not count toward either side's OAC dual meet record.

B-W picked up a forfeit win at 157, a decison from senior Joe Incorvaia (Medina/Highland) at 165, a 2:29 pin from sophomore Andrew Scavuzzo (Cuyahoga Falls/Woodridge) at 174 and a decision from sophomore Korey Leonhard (Kinsman/Pymatuning Valley) at 184.

For the season, senior 133-pounder Brian Bucher (Ottawa Hills/Avon Lake) posts a team-best 18-5 overall record and a 2-0 mark in the OAC.

The Jackets next host OAC-rival Heidelberg College on Tuesday, January 13 at 7:30 p.m. in Berea. A film crew from ESPN will be on B-W's campus from Jan. 11-15 to film junior heavyweight Terence Haynes (Brunswick Hills/Glenville) for a future episode of E60.
