B-W College Wrestling Team Falls to Thiel (Pa.) College, 30-9
BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin-Wallace College wrestling team lost to nonleague foe Thiel (Pa.) College, 30-9, tonight (Saturday, December 8, 2007) in Greenville, Pennsylvania.
With the loss, the Yellow Jackets drop to 4-4-1 overall and with the win, Thiel improves to 4-0 overall.
Despite the loss, three Yellow Jackets earned individual victories. Junior 157-pounder Joe Incorvaia (Medina/Highland) scored a 7-2 decision over Chris Lytle, senior 165-pounder Gino Russo (Northfield Center/Nordonia) won by a 8-4 decision over Scott Prinsen and freshman 197-pounder Andrew Scavuzzo (Cuyahoga Falls/Woodridge) recorded a 6-1 decision against Cris Gault. With his win, Russo remains unbeaten at 10-0.
The Yellow Jackets will return to action on Sunday, Dec. 16 when they travel to Florida for the Florida Gator Duals.
