The Baldwin-Wallace College Wrestling Team Lost to Heidelberg College in an
Ohio Athletic Dual Match Tonight in Tiffin
BEREA, OHIO—The Baldwin-Wallace College wrestling team Lost to Heidelberg College in an Ohio Athletic dual match tonight (Feb. 7) in Tiffin, Ohio.
With the loss, the Yellow Jackets fall to 8-14 overall and 2-4 in the OAC. Heidelberg improves to 16-3 overall and a perfect 6-0 in the OAC with the win.
Despite the loss, freshman Chris Hamed (Stow/ Woodridge) won by decision over Kurt Froelick, 12-6. Senior 174-pounder Sterling Sebek (Columbus, Ga./ Brookstone) defeated Aaron Jonhenry by decsion, 8-2. Rounding out the Yellow Jacket winners was senior 197-pounder Devin Carman (Ashtabula/ Geneva) defeated Ryan Fogliano, 6-2.
The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Saturday, Feb. 18 when host they the 2006 OAC Championship in Ursprung Gymnasium. Wrestling will begin in the Lou Higgens Center at 10:00 a.m.
