CAREER:   Korey Leonhard ended a very solid four-year varsity wrestling career with a 60-48 record with 133 takedowns, 113 escapes, 38 reversals and 27 near falls... He also recorded a eight falls/ pins...  As a senior, Korey won a career-high 25 matches, earned All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors with a third place finish at the OAC Tournament and served as a team captain.

In addition, Korey excelled in the classroom with a high grade point average... As a senior in 2010-11, he was selected by the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) as a 2010-11 Scholar All-American... Korey was the recipient of the John Summa Memorial Prize, given to the wrestler with the highest grade point average and excells both in and out of the classroom... On campus, he also was a member of SIFE (Students in Free Enterprise), Exercise Science and Investment clubs.

2010-11: Korey Leonhard had an outstanding senior season and compiled a 25-13 record, including a 21-10 mark at 165 pounds...Near the end of the season, he switched from 165 lbs. to 157 lbs. and compiled a 4-3 mark, including a 2-1 slate at the 2011 OAC Tournament to place third and earn All-OAC accolades. In addition, Korey was selected by the NWCA as 2011 Scholar All-American.  He also served as a team captain... Named to 2011 Academic All-OAC At-Large Team.

2009-10: Competed at both 157 and 165 lbs. as a junior...posted an overall record of 17-12, including a 14-10 mark at 157...totaled 31 takedowns, 18 escapes, 12 reversals, seven near-falls and two pins...placed fourth at 165 lbs. at the 2010 OAC Championship Tournament...placed second at 157 lbs. at the John Summa Memorial Tournament.

2008-09: Competed at both 174 and 184 lbs. as a sophomore...posted an overall record of 7-15...totaled 26 takedowns, 31 escapes, three reversals, five near-falls and two pins.

2007-08: Competed at both 157 and 165 lbs. as a freshman...posted an overall record of 11-8...totaled 20 takedowns, 24 escapes, 11 reversals, seven near-falls and one pin.
