in the Latest Division III Rankings
BEREA, OHIO —Baldwin-Wallace College junior 197-pound wrestler Devin Carman (Ashtabula/ Geneva High School), this week's Ohio Athletic Conference Wrestler of the Week, is ranked seventh nationally in Division III in the latest NCAA Division III Wrestling Coaches Association individual rankings that are released through Intermat Wrestling.
Carman, who is 10-1 overall (.909 winning percentage) and 44-11 in his career (.800 winning percentage), won an individual totle last week at the Rochester (N.Y.) Institute of Technology Tournament and also earned a win against an opponent from Ohio Northern University in an OAC dual match for a 5-0 week.
Currently, Carman and the rest of the 26th-ranked Yellow Jackets, 3-6 overall and 0-1 in the OAC, are idle until January 8 when they travel to Ithaca, New York to face host Ithaca College and Montclair State (N.J.) College in a tri-match.
