The Baldwin-Wallace College Women's Golf Team Placed Fourth at the Ohio
Northern University Invitational
BEREA, OHIO – The Baldwin-Wallace College women’s golf team placed fourth of twelve teams at the 2005 Ohio Northern Fall Invitational Tournament today (September 25, 2005). The women posted an 18-hole total of 365 strokes at the Colonial Golf Club (Par-72; 5,863-yards) in Lima, Ohio. This was the third tournament for the women this season.
Leading the way for the Yellow Jackets was senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference player Emily Scheetz (Canton/Perry) who fired an 18-hole total of 86 strokes. Following Emily Scheetz, was fellow senior Lauren Buckner (Westlake) who carded 90 strokes. Sophomore All-OAC player Molly Scheetz (Canton/ Perry) posted 93 strokes and freshman Lydia Cole (East Canton) shot 96 strokes. Junior All-OAC player Sarah Hacker (New Albany, Indiana/ Our Lady of Providence) and freshman Simone Short (Toledo/ Whitmer) posted 99 and 106 strokes, respectively.
The Yellow Jacket women’s golf team will be back in action when they play at the Muskingum College Invitational on Sunday, October 2.
