The Baldwin-Wallace College Women's Golf Team Wins the Muskingum College
Invitational
BEREA, OHIO – The Baldwin-Wallace College women’s golf team won the the 2005 Muskingum College Fall Invitational Tournament today (October 2, 2005). The women posted an 18-hole total of 370 strokes at the Cambridge Country Club (Par 72; 5,800-yards) in Cambridge, Ohio. This was the fourth tournament for the women this season.
Leading the way for the Yellow Jackets was junior All-Ohio Athletic Conference player Sarah Hacker (New Albany, Indiana/ Our Lady of Providence) who fired 87 strokes to place third individually. Following Hacker were All-OAC players senior Emily Scheetz (Canton/Perry) and sophomore Molly Scheetz (Canton/ Perry) who both posted scores of 94 strokes. Freshmen Lydia Cole (East Canton) and Simone Short (Toledo/ Whitmer) posted rounds of 95 and 109, respectively.
The Yellow Jacket women’s golf team will be back in action when they play at the John Carroll Fall Invitational at Fowlers Mill Golf Course on Sunday, October 9.
