The Baldwin-Wallace College Women's Golf Team Finishes Fifth at the

Muskingum Spring Invitational in Cambridge

BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin-Wallace College women’s golf team finished in fifth place out of 10 teams today (April 19) at the one-day and 18-hole Muskingum Spring Invitational at the Cambridge Country Club in Cambridge.

The Yellow Jackets carded a total of 402 strokes to finish fifth. Otterbein won the event with a total of 351 strokes, followed by Ohio Northern with a total of 368 strokes.

Leading the way for B-W was sophomore All-Ohio Athletic Conference player Molly Scheetz (Canton/ Perry) who fired a round of 86 for 18-holes to finish third individually. She was followed by junior All-OAC player Sarah Hacker (New Albany, Ind./ Our Lady of Providence) with a round of 96 to finish tied for 15th place overall. Freshman Lydia Cole (East Canton) finished tied for 32nd individually with a round of 103. Freshman Simone Short (Toledo/ Whitmer) finished the day tied for 49th with a total of 117 strokes.

The Yellow Jackets are back in action this weekend when they travel to Wilmington College to compete in the OAC Championship Tournament.
