The Baldwin-Wallace College Women's Golf Team Finishes Fifth at the Mount
Union College Invitational
BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin-Wallace College womenĄŻs golf team finished fifth of 10 teams at the Mount Union College Spring Invitational at the Tannenhauf Golf Club in Alliance.
The Yellow Jackets totalled 381 strokes to finish fifth overall as a team while Capital University took top team honors with a 352 stroke total. Ohio Norhtern finished second with 354 strokes, John Carroll was third at 373 strokes and Muskingum College finished fourth with a team total 374 strokes.
B-W was led by sophomore All-Ohio Athletic Conference player Molly Scheetz (Canton/ Perry) who placed 11th overall individually with an 18-hole total of 89 strokes. She was followed by junior Sarah Hacker (New Albany, Ind./ Our Lady of Providence) with a 96, freshman Simone Short (Toledo) with a 97, freshman Lydia Cole (East Canton) at 99 and senior Lauren Buckner (Westlake/ Senior) carded a 105.
The Yellow Jackets continue play on March 31-April 1 when they travel to Bexley, Ohio to compete at the annual Capital University Purple & White Invitational.
