The Women's Golf Team is Currently in 2nd Place at the OAC Women's Golf Championships

BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin-Wallace College women's golf team is currently in second place out of eight teams at the Ohio Athletic Conference Golf Championships today (April 29) hosted by Capital University. To view all of the individual and team results, please click here.

The Yellow Jackets carded a first day team total of 387 strokes on the par-72, 5,900-yard Little Turtle Country Club layout ranking them in second place behind of OAC rival Otterbein College with 372 strokes.

Individually for the Yellow Jackets, freshman Tara Wetherelt (Stockton, Calif./ Franklin)  is currently in 5th place with 95 strokes. Following Wetherelt, was sophomore Lauren Buckner (Westlake) with a 96. Freshmen Sarah Hacker (New Albany, Ind./ Our Lady of Providence) and Kylee Ehinger (Roanoke, Ind./Bishop Luers) carded a 97 and a 99 respectively. Sophomore Emily Scheetz (Massillon Perry) rounded-out the B-W scorers with a 102.

Currently Kiki Koehl from Otterbein College and Julie Huffman from Capital University are tied for first place individually with a 90.
