The Baldwin-Wallace College Women's Golf Team in 16th Place After the First

Day of the Northern Illinois Snowbird Tourney in Florida

BEREA, OHIO - The Baldwin-Wallace College women's golf team stands in 16th place of 18 schools after the first day of the 2004 Northern Illinois University Snowbird Invitational Tournament at the Pebble Creek Golf Course in Tampa, Florida.  The Yellow Jacket women are on their annual spring break trip to the Sunshine State.  The final 18-holes will be played tomorrow (March 12).

Sophomore All-Ohio Athletic Conference players Lauren Buckner (Westlake) and Emily Scheetz (Canton/ Massillon Jackson) with rounds of 93 and 98, respectively on the par-72, 5,940-yard Pebble Creek layout.  The sophomore duo was followed by freshman Sarah Hacker (New Albany, Ind./ Our Lady of Providence) with a 100, senior Lindsay Light (Ft. Wayne, Ind./ Concordia Lutheran) with a 103, freshman Kelly Gallaway (Ashland/ Senior) with a 106 and freshman Kylee Ehinger (Roanoke, Ind./ Bishop Luers) with a 108.  B-W is without its top player, freshman Tara Wetherely (Stockton, Calif./ Franklin).
