The Women's Golf Team Placed Third at the Manchester/Tri-Sate Invitational
BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin-Wallace women's golf team placed third of five teams at the Tri-Sate University/Manchester Invitational with 737 strokes (370-367). The first round was played at the Zollnar Golf Course in Angola, Indiana and the second round was played at the Honeywell Golf Course in Manchester, Indiana.
Leading the way for the Yellow Jackets was freshman Tara Wetherelt (Stockton/Franklin) with a two-day total of 177 strokes (88-89). Following Wetherelt, was freshmen Sarah Hacker (New Albany, Ind./Our Lady of Providence) who carded 181 strokes (96-85), Kelly Gallaway (Ashland/Senior) posted 193 strokes (96-97), and Kylee Ehinger (Roanoke, Ind./Bishop Luers) carded 195 strokes (90-105). Senior Lindsay Light (Fort Wayne, Ind.) posted 200 strokes (97-103) and junior Sarah Todd (Seneca, Pa./Cranberry) posted 207 strokes (97-110).
The Yellow Jackets will be in action again on October 12 at the Otterbein Invitational.
