Yellow Jackets Tie for Fourth at John Spiess Memorial Tournament

BEREA, OHIO --  The Baldwin-Wallace women's golf team finished in a tie for fourth place out of nine teams competing at the John Spiess Memorial Tournament held at the Ironwood Golf Club in Wauseon, Ohio on Monday.

B-W shot a team total of 355 led by freshman Tara Wetheraldt (Stockton, Ca./Franklin) led the way for the Yellow Jackets with a one-day total of 83 and an eighth place finish overall.  Fellow freshman Kylee Ehinger (Roanoke, Ind./Bishop Luers) fired an 87 and Sarah Hacker (New Albany, Ind./Our Lady of Providence) added an 88 for B-W.  Sophomores Emily Scheetz (Canton/Perry) and Lauren Buckner (Westlake/Senior) each shot a 97 to round out the the Yellow Jacket scoring. Junior Lindsay Light (Fort Wayne, In.) posted a 89 in plying as an individual.

The women's golf team will be back in action on September 14 at the Wilmington College Invitational at the Snow Hill Country Club.
