Women's Golf

BEREA, OHIO --  The Baldwin-Wallace women's golf team placed second of eight teams at the Hanover Invitational with a two-day total of 695 strokes (337-358). The first round was played at the Sunrise Golf Course (Par 72; 5800-yards) and the second round was played at the Spring Hill Golf Course (Par 71;5880-yards) in Hanover, Indiana.

Leading the way for the Yellow Jackets was freshman Tara Wetherelt (Stockton, Ca./Franklin) who earned the individual medalist position with a two-day total of 159 strokes (79-80). Freshmen Sarah Hacker (New Albany, Ind./Our Lady of Providence) placed sixth with 176 strokes (85-91), Kylee Ehinger (Roanoke, Ind./Bishop Luers) placed placed ninth with 177 strokes (85-92), and Kelly Gallaway Ashland/Senior) placed 12th with 183 strokes (88-95). Sophomore Emily Scheetz (Canton/Perry) carded 187 strokes (92-95).

The yellow jackets will be back in action on Sunday September 28 at the Yellow Jacket Invitational hosted by Baldwin-Wallace College.
