"I am proud of the ladies," said second-year Head Coach Alyson Campbell, the 2011 OAC Coach of the Year. "We played consistent golf and each one contributed during the four days. We improved our scores from a year ago and that is another positive.

"We hae had a great two-year run and look forward to the challenge again next season," said Campbell, who returns all seven players on her roster.

"We will have the same goals again," continued Campbell. "We will work hard during the offseason to recruit good, solid student-athletes who are excellent golfers. We will work hard during the season to improve every day. And, we will battle for the prestigious OAC title and hopefully an opportunity to return to the national tournament to represent the OAC.

"I am just so proud of these ladies... all seven," concluded Campbell.

The past two years, the BW women’s golf program has been one of the best in the region. The Yellow Jackets have won nine tournament titles, including back-to-back OAC crowns, and have a 140-44-1 record.  All five Yellow Jacket starters have each earned All-OAC accolades the past two years. A year ago, BW placed 15th and had rounds of 340, 358 and 350 and the final round was cancelled due to inclement weather during the middle of the round.
