Yellow Jackets Win Home Tourney
BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin-Wallace Women's Golf team shot a 339 to take first place at the Big Met Golf Course (Par 73; 5829-yards) in the Lady Jacket Fall Golf Invitational in Fairview Park, Ohio.
Leading the way was freshman Kylee Ehinger (Roanoke/Bishop Luers) with a (+9) 82 and placed fourth overall. Freshmen Tara Wetherelt (Stockton/Franklin) followed just a stroke behind with an 83. Sarah Hacker (New Albany/Our Lady of Providence) carded an 86 and Kelly Gallaway (Ashland/Senior) shot an 88. Sophomores Emily Scheetz (Canton/Perry) finished with a 92. Lauren Buckner (Westlake /Senior) carded a 90 while seniors Lindsay Light (Fort Wayne) shot a 95 and Karissa Kusick (Chicora, Pa./Karns City) shot a 100. Junior Sarah Todd (Senca, Pa.) rounded out the B-W scorers with an 104.
The individual medalist for the tournament was Julie Huffman from Capital University with 78 strokes.
The yellow jackets will be back in action on October 4 and 5 at the Tri-State University/Manchester Invitational.
