BW Women’s Golf Team Places Second at The College of Wooster Tournament
WOOSTER, OHIO – Junior Rebecca Kapusta (Independence) carded a round of 87 as the defending Ohio Athletic Conference champion Baldwin Wallace University women’s golf team placed second of four teams today (Saturday, September 17) at The College of Wooster Fall Invitational Tournament at the Wooster Country Club.
This was the second of five fall tournaments for the Yellow Jackets. BW totalled 366 strokes on the par-72 and 6,535-yard Wooster C.C. layout.
In addition to Kaputsa, junior Brooke Hamilton (Cleveland/ St. Joseph Academy) and sophomore Rebecca Jones (Hilliard/ Darby) each had rounds of 89, sophomore Miranda Cunningham (Dayton/ Christian) had a 91 and sophomore Emilee Woolf (Ravenna) had a 94.
BW next plays on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 23-24 when it travels to Tiffin, Ohio to play at the annual Heidelberg University Fall Tournament at the Mohawk Country Club. Tee times are to be announced
