The Baldwin-Wallace College Women's Golf Team Finishes Fifth at Mount Union College Spring Invite
BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin-Wallace College women's golf team shot a 378 to finish fifth place at the Mount Union College Spring Invitational at the Tannenhauf Golf Club in Alliance, Ohio.
B-W was led by senior three-time All-OAC player Sarah Hacker (New Albany, Indiana/ Our Lady of Providence) who carded an 89. Following Hacker was junior Molly Scheetz (Canton/Perry) with a 90, sophomore Lydia Cole (East Canton) with a 97, sophomore Simone Short (Toledo Whitmer) finished with a 102, and junior Shelly McKinney (Malvern) carded a 108.
John Carroll University won the team championship with a 346 total score. Ohio Northern’s Meagan Brennan won individual medalist honors after carding a 77.
Next Friday and Saturday (March. 30-31) the Yellow Jackets will play in the Capital University Purple and White Invitational at Foxfire Golf Club in Lockbourne, Ohio.
